This was a stunning tour , so professionally delivered by Laura who shared her knowledge of the history of the palaces and gardens. She was fluent in English for over 3 hours, full of details and descriptions of the political, religious and power struggles of that period. The beauty of the architecture and gardens are breathtaking. Not to be missed.

Antonio was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. He took the time to explain a huge amount of history to our group and it was clear he loves the Alhambra. His understanding of the arabic inscriptions and explanations of the mathematical basis of the architecture was particularly unique.

The guide was sharp, good natured and attentive. I had a sore ankle so she said I could join them at a halfway point. Then I could tour my main interest with the group. She looked for me there. I had a hard time contacting Civitatis and the tour provider about it ahead of time. The Civitatis contact form kept closing. The phone number for the provider was not in service. (I could reach other Granada numbers just fine.) Their reply my email said it was complicated, so check with the guide.

Despite large crowds of other tourists and students Eduardo our guide performed admirably. Gave insightful and knowledgeable talks about the Alhambra Palaces it's history, significance and culture which resulted from mixture of Muslim and Christian influences.

Hice este tour con mis suegros que vinieron de Canadá. Jaime , nuestro guía, ha hecho un trabajo excelente. Para empezar tiene un inglés excelente y se comunica de una manera que es muy fácil de entender. Por otro lado, nos dio mucha información útil sobre la Alhambra. También respondió muy bien a todas las preguntas del grupo y siempre tenía algo interesante que decir. Por último, nos dio unas recomendaciones estupendas de Granada. I did this tour with my in-laws who came from Canada. Jaime, our guide, has done an excellent job. To start with he has excellent English and communicates in a way that is very easy to understand. On the other hand, he gave us a lot of useful information about the Alhambra. He was also very responsive to all of the group's questions and always had something interesting to say. Our guide Carmen is very knowledgable about the history and architecture of the Alhambra Palaces and the Generalife. Her explanation of the evolution of the palaces was very clear and her passion for the subject made the three hour tour very enjoyable despite very high temperatures.

Notre guide Béatriz a été excellente. Pédagogue, drôle et parlant un français impeccable. Prestation que je recommande sans modération. 2 jours avant, nous avons fait avec Civitatis, une visite à Séville de l’alcazar , de la cathédrale et de la Giralda avec une guide qui ne parlait pas bien le français et dont les propos étaient inintéressants. Nous avons donc fait avec vous 2 prestations aux »antipodes ». J’ai signalé notre déception mais mes remarques n’ont pas été entendues. Dommage! Translate this opinion into English.

Our guide Béatriz was excellent. Pedagogue, funny and speaking impeccable French. Service that I recommend without moderation. 2 days before, we made with Civitatis, a visit to Seville of the Alcazar, the cathedral and the Giralda with a guide who did not speak French well and whose remarks were uninteresting. Our guide Laura was amazing - her knowledge and interest in the history of the Alhambra was evident throughout. The tour was over 3hrs long but didn’t feel it. As a family we all found it more interesting and effective to have a tour guide to ‘guide’ us through the Alhambra. Thank you Laura Definitely good value for money.

Unforgettable experience! I’ve visited Alhambra several times and it always amazes me: the architecture, the colors, the richness in every detail - I know it sounds cliche, but everything there feels magical. This time our guide was Hamdi, an official guide from Granada. He proved extensively knowledgeable about the history, art and culture of every palace and garden in the Alhambra compound. Totally recommend his enthusiasm about Granada’s history!

A tour is only as good as the guide. The guide I had on this tour of Alhambra was exceptional. Besides giving the basic history he added a lot of colourful data and stories as he progressed through the Alhambra. He answered questions in detail and made sure you were satisfied with the answers. I have been on several guided tours in my 76 years, but nothing as good as this. Usually everything gets parroted out, the dates and the facts and that’s it, no exchange with the group.
