Alhambra Small Group Tour + Albaicín & Sacromonte
Visit the Alhambra with a Small Group
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Paseo del Generalife to begin a guided tour of the Alhambra in a small group of no more than 12 people.
Our tour starts with the Nasrid Palaces, a stunning complex that includes the Mexuar, the Comares, and the Lions Palace—home to the iconic fountain that has become a symbol of Nasrid architecture.
Next, we'll explore the Alcazaba, the Alhambra's ancient military fortress, where you'll see impressive watchtowers like La Vela, La Pólvora, and El Cubo. Then we'll pass by the Palace of Charles V and visit the Medina area, which preserves the remains of the noble and religious dwellings.
Finally, we'll enjoy a peaceful stroll through the Generalife gardens, with their beautiful flowerbeds, fountains, and canals, a true oasis that will leave a lasting impression.
The guided small-group tour lasts approximately 3 hours and concludes back at the meeting point.
Albaicín & Sacromonte Tour
After visiting the Alhambra, you’ll have free time in Granada until we meet again at the designated time in the city center—specifically, at Plaza de Santa Ana.
From there, we'll begin a small-group walking tour of the Albaicín and Sacromonte neighborhoods. Our tour starts with a stroll through the charming, narrow streets of the Albaicín. This picturesque district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known for its famous cármenes—traditional low houses of Arab origin, often with orchards at the back.
After exploring the main streets and squares of the Albaicín, we'll continue with a guided visit to Sacromonte. This neighborhood is famous for its unique cave houses and the gypsy zambra—a flamenco style with distinct characteristics that we'll uncover throughout the tour.
The two-hour tour concludes at the iconic Paseo de los Tristes.
