We must highlight that our guide, María Rosa, was very friendly and, above all, had excellent group management skills. She provided us with historical information and graphic demonstrations. She gave us details about the architecture, recommended what to visit, and how to make the most of the tour. Excellent!

On this guided tour of the Alhambra, we'll visit the Palace of Charles V, the Alcazaba, the Medina and the gardens of the Generalife in a small group.

Tour Details

Ready to discover the most visited monument in Spain? We'll meet at the indicated time at Paseo de la Sabica, 1, in front of the Alhambra ticket office.

We'll tour the great icon of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada in a small group, allowing us to enjoy the complex more comfortably and soak up every detail. We'll go first to El Generalife, a villa annexed to the palace complex, characterized by its beautiful gardens. We'll stroll through the well-kept flowerbeds, canals, and fountains, a real haven of peace.

Our journey continues to the Medina, where the nobles, officials, and clergymen of the Nasrid court resided. As we tour this area, we'll learn what daily life was like at this time in history as we view the remains of the public baths, workshops, homes,, and other spaces.

The next stop is at the Palace of Charles V, a majestic Renaissance building built by the emperor. Did you know that he spent his honeymoon with Isabel of Portugal in the Alhambra?

After uncovering the secrets of the palace, we'll go to the Alcazaba, the old military fortress of the Alhambra. We'll take in the remains of this fortress, dating back to the 13th century, featuring outstanding watchtowers like the towers of Arms, Gunpowder, and Candle. From this final tower, we'll get extraordinary panoramic views of Granada and the Sierra Nevada.

Finally, after a walking tour of 2 to 3 hours, we'll conclude this tour of the Alhambra near the Alcazaba.
