Sierra Nevada 2 Day Skiing Course
The Sierra Nevada ski resort, located just 18.6 miles (30 km) from Granada, is one of the most popular in Spain. Whether you're just spending a few days in the home of the Alhambra or staying at the foot of the slopes, a couple of days in this Andalusian winter wonderland is an incredible experience.
We'll meet at the Mont Blanc building, located in the resort. Once there, you'll be given the necessary equipment for this course. On the day of the activity, you can choose whether you want to go skiing or snowboarding. We'll divide you into groups so that you can start gliding down the 62 miles (100 km) of skiable terrain as soon as possible.
When we get to the slopes, we'll have a 2 hour lesson with an expert instructor, who'll help us master this extreme sport and show us the best spots in the Sierra Nevada. If it's a sunny day we might even be able to see the Moroccan coast from one of the peaks. The Sierra Nevada is also home to the third highest peak in the Iberian Peninsula.
Equipment Hire
When making your reservation, you can choose the equipment hire option for the course. You'll have skis or a snowboard, boots and poles at your disposal. Helmets are also included for children under 12 years old.
Important information
- The ski course lasts 2 days and takes place on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Children between 6 and 12 years old are not allowed to take a snowboarding course.
- If you want to sign up for a snowboarding course, you can only do so if you are a beginner. The skiing course, on the other hand, is open to all levels.
- In order to access Sierra Nevada's lifts and slopes, you need to have previously purchased the ski pass
